IIRC  The GM product placement in the Matrix was more to highlight the new Cadillac CTS.

You should have seen SUV and truck prices in 2008 when gas jumped up to over $4.00/gallon. I was able to get a current generation Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer for under $10k.

This is still capitalism. Though the manufacturer will have no issue selling every Z06 they product they have decided that their retail partners (dealerships) could create too much negative publicity/hard feelings by charging over MSRP. This negative publicity could then affect sales of other products, i.e. trucks, or

The destination fee is not a “low-rent auto industry gimmick”. It is required by law.

Microsoft will continue to make consoles as long as they can sell, and they are selling very well.  But ultimately they want to push everyone to a cloud solution similar to Stadia whereas hardware is no longer barrier to entry.

As an American, while we learn of the SS in school, it doesn’t quite have the same cultural significance here as it would in Germany and Europe. This would likely be similar to KKK being taboo in the US but not having near the cultural significance outside of the US. As far as the SS branding goes, it stands for Super

But it took over 3 months while he was in jail for that to happen.

Did you even read the article or is this sarcasm?

The last pickup I owned was a ‘98 F150 stepside.  There were so many times back then I wished I had that feature.

While the sound quality isn’t the best it’s nice to have native controls for just picking a channel (genre) instead of fiddling with the phone after I start the car.  However, I will say it is overpriced.  I only get it if I can get the $5/month deal.

As someone who lives in a state that gets both hot and cold weather, I 100% disagree with your statement about heated seats and steering wheels. I will even go as far as to say I would be hard pressed to consider a daily driver that also doesn’t include cooled/ventilated seats.  In terms of touchscreen controls.  Yes

Because your car feels like a cave when you don’t have one.  This is coming from the person who ordered a Camaro without the sunroof just to have the extra head/helmet room.  But all of my other vehicles have a sunroof.  It’s a nice open feeling without nearly as many downfalls as a convertible.

The local Meijer just had some Tesla chargers installed. Seems like a good way to entice people to shop there vs Walmart. Another prime place for this would be restaurants and hotels.

Aluminum foil.  I know people that work at a well known brand of aluminum foil, and they also make the generic store brands as well.  The store brands are made at half the thickness of the name brand.

It’s best to have a mixture of internal and external management. I have seen companies that only hired internally for management, and those were some of the most poorly run companies. Management had no experience beyond what they had already seen within that company. They were in no way following industry best

It has almost always been a package for the base model but only sometimes available on higher performance trims.

The RS in the third gen Camaro was a ground effects package that could be equipped with either the V6 or the base power 305.

Except the RS package has never been and never advertised as a performance package.

The RS package has been around off and on since the late 60s and has never been anything but a visual only package that entire time and is understood as such.

The RS trim on Chevy’s lineup is a visual only trim and has always been, but people like to pretend it was supposed to be a performance trim for some reason.
