I only have limited experience with it, but I did drive a 2016 V6 rental Camaro for about 800 miles for a business trip last year. I in no way was easy on the car, but I did manage to average around 33 mpg on both tanks even though the highway rating of the car is only 28 mpg.

I too am a fan of that particular V6. I drive a ZL1 but got a rental Camaro with that same 3.6L. It was a blast, but I mean it did have the “rentals ar the fastest cars upgrade”.

I’m right there with you. I love my torque over a wide band. My fun car makes 500 lb-ft from around 2500 RPM all the way to 6200 RPM. No matter which gear I am in I can just hit the gas and go.
