However, the 3.5L motor running minimum boost will need to be in a lower gear and at higher revs to make the same horsepower. At that point you are adding friction to the equation.

GM was not taking the lousy tactic. They are legally a completely different company than the prebailout GM.

I don’t know about the rest of the states, but in Kentucky you are only required to know how to drive a manual if you take the test in a car with a manual (seems pretty self explanatory). However there are no restrictions if you take the test in an automatic.

You can directly compare a Demon to a GT3 since they are both essentially track ready cars from the factory. They may be set up for different kinds of tracks, but that can’t take away the fact that a Demon is a track car.

Whenever a new guy starts at the local NAPA there is an employee at my uncle’s garage that always calls in an order for a water pump for a 1965 Beetle.

What goes into stock price is much much more than consumer confidence. In the case above of a company making more money that predicted, that can be the sign of an underlying management issue. It shows the the company does not know the market in which they are selling and could have just “gotten lucky.” Some of the

The Navigator has been Ecoboost V6 only since the 2015 mid model refresh.

Precisely. Ford used the same logic when they released the GT500 with 662 HP.

As of today, the EV market is a small subset of the car market as a whole. You can’t say that there is a “car market”. There is a sports coupe market, sports sedan market, small SUV market, truck market, etc. There is not much cross shopping between trucks or sports coupes which puts them in defacto separate markets.

All of the parts that come on the Demon are stock...

The Camaro stopped using the Holden chassis in 2016. The Alpha platform was developed in the US for Cadillac and Camaro.

Tesla is trying to invent the EV market. Prior to Tesla EVs were thought of as nothing more than extremely compromised vehicles that were hardly a step up from golf carts. Tesla showed that EVs can have full creature comforts and some resemblance of performance.

I wouldn’t be too surprised if the Demon is a bit faster. I doubt Hennessey brought the suspension to the level that it is only really functional on a drag strip.
