With that market captured, Tesla has made a name for itself. When someone says Tesla, your first thought is high tech, fast, and environmentally. Ford or GM could make a superior car in every facet to the Model S or Model X with a Lincoln or Cadillac badge, but it will never be as popular. What is your first

I was always a fan of the LT5.

Or just take the weight off yourself?

I have not used a screen protector since switching to smartphones in 2011. They aren't nearly as required as they used to be back in the day when screens would scratch if you looked at them wrong.

$20k in 2000 is equivalent to $27.6k in 2015. It’s not 12 grand worth of inflation, but it isn’t far off the price of a work truck today.

That wouldn't make the 'vette any cheaper. That engine, on paper, is very similar to the LT1 in both torque and horsepower. Given the DOHC arrangement and additional turbo plumbing it could end up costing more. I wonder if it will even fit due to height restrictions.

I never implied that. I only implied that even if the laws specifically grandfathered in classic cars there will be people who will likely vandalize these cars.

Did you not see the article about the notes being left on VW TDI cars? Even if they are legal you will have people who will take it upon themselves to be vigilantes.

I thought I had it bad. I’m about 6’3” with a 34” inseam. I can fit in my Camaro only because I got one without a sunroof. If I sit up strait in a 4th gen I can touch the t-top glass.

Sit in a fifth gen then sit in a sixth gen. The interior is much tighter in the new car. Also, the new car is sized appropriately compared to the history of the car.

The new Camaro is on the Alpha platform which is not Australian. The only cars currently on the Alpha platform are the ATS, CTS, and Camaro.

That’s what they just did with the transition from the 5th gen (2015 models) to the 6th gen (2016) models.

I don't know the value of the G-bodies. They were never my style except for the Grand Nationals. My guilty pleasure from that era would be a third gen Camaro.

Very much CP, but it's tempting to take a look since it appears to be only a few miles from work.

I would really like to say a Lamborghini LM002, but I am afraid those will be too expensive. Is a G8 GXP too normal?

Agreed. The article needs to be amended. This is a supercharged Northstar engine, not the LSA from the CTS-V.

A lot of people where I work are switching from Verizon to AT&T. Where my AT&T phone would have 4 bars, my office neighbor would have No Service on his Verizon phone, and he wasn't the only one. This is also about 5 miles from city center in a city of about 750,000.

CVTs aren’t good with torque. A lot of these 8-9 speed transmissions are going into trucks, high torque motors pushing a heavy vehicle. Nissan is trying the CVT in the Pathfinder which is using a V6 to push a ~4500 lb vehicle. They are also having an extremely high failure rate. I have heard of several getting

They have no idea that the transmission is different than what they are used to. It has PRND and those new fancy +/- toggles. Why should they suspect anything different? The same can be said of CVTs. Have you noticed how more of them come with "simulated gears" which completely negates the advantage of a CVT?

THIS. You spend the entire process developing a South African character, and you can’t go the extra mile to get someone WHITE or BLACK of South African decent? That’s lazy, and part of the system that continaully makes excuses for not pushing the status quo in the roles given to people of color.
