I think it depends on which videos you're watching. For example, I just started watching the Mortal Kombat: Legacy videos and they seem like DVD quality to me (or close).

And after you download it, you have to run it so it can collect your console information and send it to MS.
Seriously? I'll have to check that out when the update goes public.
Premium themes look pretty much the same as they did on the NXE dashboard.
I hate the Netflix update; it looks cluttered, plus it starts playing a video as soon as you click on it. That's very annoying when you're watching a TV series and you want to skip to a certain episode. The good news, at least, is that it finally supports 5.1 audio for certain movies/episodes.
No kidding! Also, there's a huge difference between a fancy news ticker and actual ads. Its true that the actual ads shouldn't be there at all to begin with, but they're not exactly pop-up ads.
Paying more money? Not if you're an existing Verizon customer/XBL Gold member. Its not like you have to pay extra JUST for the ability to watch TV on the 360.
I'm in the beta, too, and I don't see how they're "even more worthless" now than they used to be. Unless you mean that you need one more extra click to see the backgrounds (or that there's two friends' avatars per background instead of each avatar having one).
If you asked Kojima what the name of the next Metal Gear game is, he would tell you its Metal Gear SOLID: Rising.
Yes, shooters and sports games are popular on XBL. But if PSN had a top 10 most played games, you don't think Resistance 3 and MW3 would be up there? Trust me, they would be. Having said that, it doesn't mean that that's ALL anyone plays on either the 360 or PS3.
"Anyways, anyone getting the collection for 360 is still going to be lost as hell anyways considering the collection doesn't come with MGS1; the foundation of the entire series."
I don't get why people keep forgetting to put the word "Solid" when it comes to talking about Metal Gear Solid: Rising (or the letter "S" when abbreviating it as MGS: Rising).
"These numbers are pretty much fubared anyways... how many of those sales were people upgrading to a new slim version, replacing a busted version, etc."
Hotsey?
1) hdmi port failures, wireless wheel failures both due to poor qc in their manufacture
The Wavebird wasn't standard like the 360 controller is. Also, can you really say that downloadable console games would be the same today if Xbox Live Arcade wasn't around? I doubt even the Virtual Console would exist.
"you forgot they also "innovated"
You don't even have to look at them. Whine some more.
MGS1 was also on the PC, so I don't know where you thought you were going with this, other than yanking people's chains.
I'm sure he was wondering how the hell you got a star with the kind of attitude that you're showing here, which is an attitude that seriously makes me doubt that you're not actively trying to be a troll.
