@NewSpecies: I don't get why people are bitching about the d-pad when it comes to MM9 and BC: Rearmed. In MM9, you really only need to move up, down, left, and right. In BC:R, you're only moving left and right and your arm shoots out diagonally with the push of a button. A lot of you make it sound like you're trying

@acez2087: Didn't you click on the Gamerscoreblog link? They're saying that old themes will work fine. They even show what the Gears of War 2 "Hope Runs Deep" theme will look like on the new dashboard.

@Razgriz1: 1. The avatars are optional.

@MasterNinja: I'm pretty sure that's the reason for a new dashboard; to make things easier to find and make the dashboard easier to navigate. That's really the only reason for any interface change, actually, like the new Kotaku inteface.

@Mact: "Yeah. Cause Nintendo totally shoved that in last minute..."

@EVILLAMA: Yeah, I'm waiting for that to be fixed, too. Otherwise, I'd be playing CC in between my Tales of Vesperia sessions.

Its funny how a lot of people here (including you, Luke) just assume that MS is seriously gonna improve the d-pad for a limited time only. No one's ever been stupid enough to improve anything for a limited time only and MS isn't gonna start that trend. If you're gonna make assumptions, you should assume that that's a

@PowerButton: Yeah, they played the PS3 version, but the review is for the 360 version.

@PowerButton: "We reviewed the game on the 360". Maybe that's why.

"...there's never been a game to make you hate the console's awful d-pad as much as this one."

@Gavbot: I think its more like the gameplay and concept of "Knights of the Round" meets the art style of "Alien Hominid".

I'm sure the sales would be at least 50% higher if the game launched at 800 points. And no, 1200 points isn't "just" $5 more; I know for a fact that a lot of people would be bitching if DVDs, retail games, and even other XBLA games cost "just $5 more" than usual.

@ps360blows: His username and avatar make that even more obvious.

@MCWHAMMER: Are you implying that trophies have meaning?

Sorry if this has already been suggested, but how about using the thumbs up/thumbs down system that YouTube uses?

@NovaBlack: Windows Media Center was using an XMB-like interface before the PSX (the first Sony product to use it) was made.

@dv8godd: Your comment (the one I responded to) was the last one on the first page of comments. I ended up responding to it first before reading the comments on the second page; that's why I brought up the "you don't have to pay" argument, even though you already addressed it after you made the 100th comment.

@dv8godd: I get your complaint about being charged for XBL, but complaining about having to pay for games and a console to play it on? What's that about? You act as if MS are the only ones who charge for a console and games.

@riqued: Nothing will happen to the Xbox 360 as a result of not using Blu-Ray discs for gaming, just like nothing will happen to gaming on the PC or the Wii for also not using Blu-Ray discs for games.
