Kudos to the actress playing the judge, who put every ounce of authority she could into each judicial decision and delivery of "overruled," "sustained," and the always-TV-adjacent "I'll allow it, but you'd better get there fast!"

This is the universe in which Laurel got to put her father on the stand to testify about protecting her.
I'm 100% in on Curtis getting to Mr. Terrific it up by the end of the season.
I still don't know her name. Or anyone on the island. Sometimes including Oliver. Flashbacks, boy, I don't know.
See, at the beginning of the season, I thought the opposite. I've really come around on him over the course of the season!

Batman Team Book was enough to draw my eye. Frankly, Tynion's best superhero work is capturing the dynamic between the various young bat superheros. It's where his contributions to the Eternal series have most excelled.
Don't think I could ever make any Wednesday signings working Hill hours, but I'll try to keep posted for any Saturday events! Heard nothing but good things about Third Eye. And yeah, as my co-workers described it, I live "beyond the Wall."
I wanted to drive the hour over there last time they had Tom King in. I need to make time to do so if he shows up again. Driving through beltway traffic is… frustrating.
The number of people Berlanti gets with musical talent really makes me wonder when that musical episode is coming.
I've seen it elsewhere on the internet since last night, but while I wouldn't want to review this show, I do want to hug it.
The $2.99 price tag is key and the only reason I'll be trying some of the books myself. I'll be curious how long it stays that way, but it's a great early marketing move.
I think this is the best case scenario for Yang. I'll be hanging back to maybe catch his new book on a digital delay (which I know can be the kiss of death for a series), because I'm still not sure how well his strengths play to the Big Two.
Rebirth has me pretty excited overall. I'm still skeptical about the quality that comes with double-shipping, but some of those creative teams and pitches were genuinely great. I am so so so pumped to read Rucka/Sharp/Scott's Wonder Woman run. I really enjoy Williamson's Image stuff, so I may hop back on Flash as…
Not to my knowledge, no.
I'm bummed with the direction they're taking Helena in Grayson, and I wonder if that was the original plan from the King/Seeley creative team or if Rebirth "meat and potatoes" editorial demands necessitated a removal of that character. Things could still change in the final issues, but I'm not enthused.
Ralph Dibny is back in full Elongated Man form and style. And Sue's back with him. Last page was a full page splash of Ralph slinky-ing down the stairs. Bless Gail Simone.
King was confirmed to be off Vision as of issue 12, though that also completes the story he planned.
I'm seeing off a good friend tomorrow, so I'll have to miss the announcements and catch up later. I'm cautious, but hopeful. I think my biggest fear is the art teams, given the twice a month schedule. It really puts the nail in the coffin of long writer/artist runs like we had in the New 52 with Snyder/Capullo,…
He's a favorite character of mine. I honestly don't expect to see him much beyond this, but this was nice of Gail Simone to do.
