Respect Some Rides

Is that a container on your boat or are just happy to see me?

This. Nothing pisses me off more than someone who does something for a fucking living getting told how to do their job by some jackass, like if you know so much, get up here and put the rock in your truck yourself asshole.

For all the bullshit spewing from their mouths, that was an absolutely artful boulder drop onto a tiny target. Kudos to the bobcat operator.

Only outside the U.S.

Well seeing as Fernando will be driving a Toyota. The Toyota.

Joking aside, there is really no point to an SUV. As far as cargo capacity, unless you’re loading above the seat line (not recommended) you’re really not getting any more storage space. Trunk floors these days are very low, especially in FWD cars. Most people will never fill the trunk of a common family sedan anyway.

Always being wrong has conditioned me to take criticism well.

I was gonna get my panties in a wad and scream “COUNTERPOINT: FUCK YOU” but Mack is taking the punches well and makes some decent (no matter how vomit inducing) points. Props, keep up the good work, and make sure you check your flame suit frequently.

Cleveland? I think you can speak for plenty of other idiots, in that case.

Your bio says I shouldn’t listen to you. So should I listen to you? Instruction not clear.

Counterpoint: my wife refuses to drive anything that could be considered a “mom car.” No wagons, no crossovers, no hatchbacks, nothing that could be construed as her having sacrificed her sense of style for practicality. So she drives a 3-series.

I want wagons and sedans to switch. Almost everyone gets a wagon, but the occasional sedan comes to market and is heralded for being unique. That’s my vision for Hogan’s America.

Wrong. Minivans are the obvious choice - no ground clearance, all-wheel drive is available, gobs of cargo/passenger space.

Just when I was beginning to like you, Mack, you go and do this. I love me some wagon, but sedans have benefits.

I don’t get SUVs, crossovers, with their increased ground clearance.

And there’s a sportback. Which is technicaly a hatch, with elegant coupe-like lines, wide stance, but practical rear-door, which opens wide enough and allows you to carry big items. I’m looking at you: BMW 4-series, Audi A5 and Panamera.

AWD, height and looks. To be fair to her, we did try and buy her a GTI first, but cost wise it was not even close. The CX-3 is our commuter car.

What’s the primary reason she chose this over a 3 hatch?

Its not selfish when our tax money pays to bail out said company for a few years.
