If I'm choosing between a 1yo Stinger and a 5yo Civic, I'll take the Stinger every time.

Wrong wheel drive.

“Stylish” probably doesn’t entail “looks like a bad Shrek costume.”

Could this be one of those instances where a brown manual Jetta (or Golf) Sportwagen TDI actually makes a solid case?

In fact his mild comments might have caused the misunderstanding by Gabe here. Neville’s comments were typical British understatement. He could have gone scorched earth and ranted and raved about every serious offence by Cameroon and would have been totally justified in doing so, but instead he reverted to British

the referee has to be involved and make the final decision.”

I think a trebuchet would be more effective and culturally appropriate.

Since you think I muddied the waters why don’t I clarify my meaning- I sincerely believe that Gabe’s assessment of Cameroon’s behavior would have been significantly less generous/forgiving had it been a European underdog like Italy. Downplaying Cameroon’s actions and arguing that they had every right to do what they

England manager Phil Neville saw neither of these as viable understandings of what happened and instead decided to use his postgame interview to chide Cameroon—who, remember, England had just beaten by three goals—for not keeping their composure.

This idea that Cameroon’s players can’t be held responsible for controlling their actions and emotions is a bunch of condescending and frankly racist bullshit that would be heavily decried on Deadspin if it was written outside of Deadspin.

Really don’t understand the criticism of Phil Neville’s interview.

MAGA Chuds and Woke Bloggers are two sides of the same coin.

So... this article should really be skewering US Soccer, who clearly reached out to all these professional teams with templates asking them to tweet it out to their followers.

Where does this post rank in the history of worst-ever Deadspin posts? Top Ten? Top Five? Worst Ever?

Not only is Deadspin upset, Twitter user Malinda is upset. Some of them tweets had up to 8 likes! Deadspin would have been the laughing stock of the internet had they not published this story.

Could this possible be anything but a coordinated campaign BY the USWNT asking teams to do EXACTLY THIS? I see zero indication these men’s teams came up with this idea.

USWNT provides graphics for American teams to use for shows of support in order to push their brand.

Hey, it’s 2019. It's about time Americans (ALL Americans) got used to the idea that guys play sports.

Yeah, probably not “purist.” Just “enthusiasts” who like their cars to sound nice and not blatty and crappy. There are many good-sounding 4-cylinder cars out there, Porsche 356s and 944s among them. But the 718 sounds particularly annoying and cheap.

To be fair, it was a flat 4 turbo.
