That van (the rear wheel drive version) was my very first car. Loved it. Totally a death-trap. Miss it all the time.

Bourbon county only recently became “wet.” Christian county has always been “wet.”

Driver spotted:

Exactly. Anyone not in ICE doing this to a child would go to jail. From the Republicans we’ll get a big shrug.

Sweet - almost bought the handsome collection this past weekend to get ready for BL3! Now I don’t have to.

More and more I wonder what terrible dirt the Repubs have on Pelosi...

Yep. My divorced parents earned enough combined to price me out of really any aid. So now between my wife and I we’re six figures down with one salary (one of our kids needs a bit more TLC than most, so my wife is staying home), so it’ll be almost $3k a month in loan payments for another 20 years or so...

My dad had an earlier model year when I was a young child. I called it my dad’s “spaceship”. So he put a button on the dash that made the Star Trek warp speed noise - he’d say “Ok, let’s go to warp!” and I’d press the button and he’d floor it and I’d laugh and laugh...

Not sure where I heard it, probably from someone while I was in med school. Say it to my trainees now all the time.

They do make car seats children can sleep in. They’re called car seats. It’s a bad blog post about bad research conclusions.

Doctor in a children’s hospital here. We’ve talked about this many times. Never seen a co-sleeping death where the parent involved wasn’t intoxicated... Doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen (the plural of anecdote is not data), but it’s definitely a noticeable trend.

Yeah, also of note that the context often involved parents under the influence or asleep. Leaving a sleeping baby in the car seat while you push them in a stroller or while they sit next to you while you eat? Fine. Don't get drunk and pass out and leave your baby in a car seat all night.

Melvin said that while women would be safe from prosecution, he could not promise the same for doctors and nurses who perform procedures after six weeks.”

Rage 2 (agree with the Kotaku review, but still finding it fun). Also finishing my 2nd Breath of the Wild playthrough. Maybe some Division 2.

Came to say this.

When do we (if ever) get the Ranger Raptor?

That was my take away too. Her book sounds awful.

I’ve commented elsewhere in this post about how I really miss my 1988 Toyota minivan, my first car ever. I ALSO really miss my 2003 Montero Sport (my second car, bought in college). That thing was awesome. Could go anywhere, haul anything, was good looking... I’ve been hoping Mitsubishi brings the Triton to the US,

This. There’s no such thing as a screen time limit on an airplane. 8 hours of Bubble Guppies? Knock yourself out.

Aaaaaand... bought.
