We had a child in the ER today crying because - in his words - he doesn’t have medicaid and his mom can’t afford for him to be sick.
As a doctor, I can verify. There are some dumb doctors. Also, Cassidy is both dumb and evil. A winning combination!
Trump, meet Streisand Effect.
Great, can now buy this amazing game for the 4th time... (PS, iOS, Vita)
I f-ing loved Solaris. (Amazing music for any fans of movie scores)
Is that Drew on the bottom in the foreground?
Between us my wife and I have over $200k in student loan debt (I went to med school, she got her PhD). That coupled with the fact that we live in an extremely red state where our votes are just blue background noise, I’d definitely sell my vote for loan forgiveness. And without regret.
You’re right, I’m terribly sorry for quoting an 18 year old movie that might offend this sexist, anti-choice, anti-LGBTQ, Grover Norquist loving, bribe-taking, racist ass. He’s also pro-drilling in wildlife refuges, anti-arts funding (he’s referred to the arts as “photographs of people doing offensive things”),…

And yet they arrested people here in Durham for tearing down a statue pretty much the next day... I definitely plan on voting against the Durham county sheriff next time he’s up for election.
There’s a saying in my family that goes back generations that I think is appropriate: “fuck this goddamn motherfucker.”
Just as soon have my kids not be in either one.
That’s true, but I can’t find any articles saying if it’s the talc or the asbestos contaminant that was litigated. Also, asbestos-free talc is classified as NOT carcinogenic (category 3), and perineal use of talc powder as “possible”(2B) which is not the same as “probable” (2A).
It should be noted that a chemical being on the IARC list of “possible” carcinogens is not terribly indicting; the threshold to get on that list is very very low. Caffeine is on it, for instance, as are aloe Vera, ginkgo biloba, “carpentry and joinery”, diesel fuel, dry cleaning, pickled vegetables, magnetic fields,…
