I can't believe there even was worry of cancellation. This show is literally the only comedy I actually LIKE!

Hell, they did that entire episode dedicated to Star Wars & Raiders; I imagine they can call it a light saber all they want at this point & Lucas would just laugh. Disney? Probably not quite so much. :-P

I didn't hate Miracle Day, but because a US company got involved, of course they couldn't just leave it at four or five episodes; they had to pad that thing out as much as humanly possible. That's something I admire about UK shows as opposed to American shows; they have a story to tell, if it takes three episodes,

Beautiful sentiment by Patton… I'm a bit late to the Oswalt appreciation society, having had to learn to love him for his oddness rather than in spite of, but I have grown to truly appreciate his immensely witty intellect, and I am grieving for his loss. That's rough, losing your love without even a chance to say

Gary's rapidly becoming my favorite character. I think he's starting to realize he's got more on the ball than his boss. Love how he & the Monarch are starting to bond as friends more than boss & henchman.

Excellent read, and spot on. We're involved in a big argument about the pacing of this show on another site I frequent, and this article was linked as the argument in favor of it. You made the case perfectly for why this is a necessary plot device in getting us into McGill's world! Bravo!
