Much as I thought the idea of putting Lupita Nyong'o under CGI was dumb, I really liked Maz Katana and wanted to know more about her. (And oh my, Nyong'o has a fabulous, warm voice.)
Maybe a quibble or two, but there is a lot to love about it.
Today I learned that Unforgettable still exists and was picked up by A&E.
Let's make the distinction: the rest of the show aside, Community had one of the best ensembles for six years.
I'll make the case for The Last Five Years, the best love/hate story of the year. It's too bad it kind of got buried, but now's a good time to catch up with it.
She and the Donut Time clerk in Tangerine are the best one-scene actors this year.
I liked it, but it's more for the characters and those wonderful performances than the story.

I just had a weird moment where I realized that Michael Chernus from Manhattan (Fritz) is also Cal (the woods weirdo) on Orange is the New Black, and he's fantastic on both.

I watched Manhattan finale this morning and my god, I was welling up. Michael Chernus as Fritz is the late-season MVP for his work those last few episodes.
