Christ. I thought Wasikowska might have escaped this turd.

That's a GREAT comparison (especially to a song that I would put in the top 5 of Sondheim).

The way, when they're saying their names at the beginning of the song, Peggy comes in just a little quick after Eliza as if, "hey, me too!" is so youngest sibling.

Plus, it's the correct narrative despite later attempts by neo-Confederates to try and make up things about "states rights."

I have put some time aside this weekend to read the Genius annotations. Because this is like the intersection of my history and musical theatre nerdiness, and this musical reminding people that Hamilton essentially created the United States is right up my alley.

A) Good lord, this man has good stories.

Oh god, Quiet Uptown.

I checked to see if anyone had come close. The only ones who came close were Marvin Hamlisch and Richard Rodgers (and Rodgers died two years before the Grants started).

That pause before brain is both a great rhythm thing and such a great way to do the emphasis.

Not gonna lie. When I listen to "Who Lives, Who Dies, Who Tells Your Story?" and Eliza inserts herself back into the narrative, I tear up like crazy.

Add in variation where the beach only has enough materials for a shelter for half of them. Let's see how they deal with that as a tribe when it rains.

Me!

Yep! My wife can confirm it!

Pardon me, could you please pay this bill for a new keyboard?

I'm wondering if Earth-2 Wells is being such a dick towards Jay because of his daughter being kidnapped.

Line reading of the season so far.

I adore her already.

He's the best.

I'm going with the Zoom is Earth-2 Eddie Thrawne theory. Just because oh boy, that's gonna mess Caitlin up.

Oh, I loved MBFOB. It was practically a dry run for Joe Schmo (the last season of which was legitimately great). No idea who Fox thought it was for, but the moment at the end of episode one where you find out the whole thing is an elaborate put-on punking Apprentice wannabes is one of my favorite TV memories.
