Which is just *weird*.
Which is just *weird*.
I love how Kevin Tighe has this fun second career playing older assholes.
Maybe there's another guy, but wasn't Cooper's character the one who had been in WWI? I know Jones' as in the Spanish-American War.
And a pretty great way of playing Owlsey, who even later on with his weird Owl gimmick is still the Marvel equivalent of Penguin: kind of nuts, but also pragmatic and trying as much as possible to not draw a huge amount of attention by the guys in capes. It's bad for business.
And President Roslin! It's a pretty damn excellent cast.
Wiki seems to think so, and I wouldn't be surprised. So with him and Gunton, you have two faces carved from West Virginia granite.
Great thing is, I remember exactly the context: Mull playing the Pied Piper on Wonder Woman, still one of the weirdest clips in an RR ever.
Everyone should see Matewan, by the way. Really excellent early John Sayles movie.
Sorry, now I'm just laughing at the kid noting he was adopted in Easy A and Stanley Tucci's reaction.
Debra had a bum deal. Sure, she was shrill and all, but her husband is a slacker and she has to deal with his mook family from across the street all the time.
I see so much of my mother in Lois; loves her kids and husband like crazy, but damn if they can't drive her up the wall. One of my favorite Lois moments is the episode where Malcolm proves his dad couldn't have embezzled all the company money because he's been secretly taking Fridays off for years; Lois at the end is…
That's simply incomprehensible.
Essie Davis had my second favorite performance from last year; talk to parents of small children and they'll tell you how it's easy to love your child while at the same time wanting them to shut up for 1 god damn minute.
Possibly; I'm not as good on racist British parties as I should be.
Is that the one that's the UKIP with less overt racism?
I didn't realize your criteria was "stuff only she could do." OK, Avengers, where she brings in Banner, takes down Russian mobsters, gets Loki's plan out of him before it is too late, to name three.
And the best series starts tonight with the Wild & Blackhawks.
So like Iron Man 2, Avengers and Captain America: Winter Soldier where she actually does stuff? (I mean geez, CA:WS is practically a Black Widow movie and is all the better for it.)
Jesus, Clark Gregg has an interesting career.
And a well-deserved nomination that was.
