Freaking great call.

But it's the afterlife, so it would never hurt! Even when (as @persia said, I get hit by falling masonry).

I went with 1968-70 Marvel New York; just late enough that most of the great characters are around but still early enough that it still has that sunny optimism that things can be OK and there are heroes looking out for us. (Perfect example: Punisher does not arrive until 1974.) Also, no Gambit or New Mutants to gum

Thank you!

May I get in on the pick four with Max, Shirrin, Joe and Jenn? Alternate: Max, Carolin, Joe and Jenn.

So where are we doing the pick 4?

Possibly, but we'll see.

Ah, got it, you don't like pizza.

God, so many places to try now. I adore the Gage's poutine, by the way; it's like a perfect blend of flavors.

Replacing Watts would be very hard, but I'm willing to trust Aukerman in that he knows what he's doing on this.

They are!

They're still using his video for "how to be on a jury" for Cook County here. It's a bit hilarious, especially since he still has the mustache in it.

Michaela Watkins looking for a key under a fake rock in a yard filled with rocks may be the bets visual joke on TV last year, just in how she played it.

Thank Grodd.

Unless tonight's New Girl really wows me, I think I'm out. I'm just not caring enough anymore to keep a DVR subscription.

You are correct, he was the year after she left. Maybe my brain has thankfully compressed those awful four or so years (and the dark period before that when Joe Piscopo was a cast member) into a shorter era.

Yeah, that was a damn shame.

Ouch. I'm just old enough that I can remember the Robert Downey & Julia Dreyfuss season when it aired….and you don't want that.

This….this is true.
