Speaking of, who else had an awful, cringe reaction to the sound of a Boston accent in the "blue collar" preview? It's a particular, "I'm a REAL American, who fights every night in my Southie firefighter bar!" type of sound to me and I've a bad feeling about whomever it is.

It's a small sample size and there were other factors, but note the one person who threw a challenge this year was Drew. And that went swimmingly for him, right?

They still need to fix the giving away rewards for next season.

My wife, God bless her, was able to name everyone looking at them sitting in the reunion.

Damn. So, so close (OK, kind of maybe) to Jaclyn giving me a higher finish

So not so much "dodged" as "won outright."

It's pretty damn great. And it's introduced by William Shatner, since it's in the "Get A Life!"episode!

And I always loved that Hartman got to play Uncle Phil remembering where the money went.

Well the story, if I remember right, was originally going to have the Crime Syndicate from Earth 2 but they went in a different direction and created the Justice Lords.

Justice Lords! Sorry, these guys aren't pure evil like the Crime Syndicate but my mind substituted that name.

My favorite also involves Jon Lovitz, in the lost ending of It's A Wonderful Life sketch. He's punched by Dana Carvey, falls behind a desk and then Carvey pulls out a wonderfully fake dummy for everyone to kick and pummel (or in the case of Jan Hooks as Mary, delivering a nice elbow hit wrestling move).

Well, at this point they have four movies to go (Moonraker, Never Say Never Again, For Your Eyes Only and Octopussy); their taping schedule is kind of irregular so that'll take some months. Then Spectre comes out in November, so that's another episode. After that…who knows!

That's great, but her fascination with the spaghetti robot in Judge Dredd is still my favorite moment of her getting fixated on something just plain weird.

James Bonding is very worth your time; I've enjoyed it enough that I'm finally playing along and watching the Moore movies (oy, the Moore movies) as they get to them.

I always love the bit when they go up against the Crime Syndicate of America and Batman just plains *trusts* Flash to come up with a way to get them out.

The delight that he takes in that fat suit amuses the hell out of me.

Hubris comes before a fall!

Also, the 8 guests of Hannukah. I'm a sucker for these kind of weird one-offs of massive numbers of impersonations.

For the budget it has, it's a ridiculously good looking show.

I had a weird moment in watching this where I started wondering, since I went to a fairly upscale high school in the northern suburbs, whether any of my classmates had had Maier as a nanny; the time works out about right that they could easily have had her as kids.
