Yeah I could have sworn there was some sort of rule about height off the ground for blinkers on cars, but maybe not. Shit they regulate everything else.

I’ve seen a guy in my neighborhood ride one, he rocks the flag so he can be seen better. Definitely need a marker of some kind higher up.

I had basically the opposite happen. My older brother was given a 91 Integra in high school after he wrecked his 86 Cougar. He goes off to college, and I get to take care of the Integra and drive it once I get my license. I kept that car clean, took care of maintenance, put in a new stereo system and treated it well.

Some good, and very zen, advice. BE the traffic.

Yup, that’s the one.

Yeah, the broken plug was much more of a bummer. Had the thing thrown a CEL, I would have scanned the codes, found a miss on cylinder 3, and could have fixed it myself easy enough. The only reason we took it in was the lack of a CEL, had me wondering if the gas quality was bad, fuel pump issues, clogged CAT, etc. Ohh

I actually followed up on the MINI turn signals. After getting it back from the dealership for an intermittent loss of power under acceleration that never generated a Check Engine Light (spoiler alert - broken spark plug), we drove the MINI down to see Mrs. Deer-tay’s parents this weekend. I drove back, and found that

I had never been, only heard the horror stories, including test dummies coming out of water slides without their heads.

That’s a great one. I was driving down 287 one weekend, and kept passing this guy driving by himself in an Audi. I was doing my usual 75 mph in the middle lane, he would pass on the left, end up slowing down so I would pass him, then speed up again and pass me. Must have been half a dozen times. Well, somehow the 7th

Star because you stopped at the light as a cyclist. I see so many blow through stop signs and red lights on a regular basis. One on my way into work the other morning, blew through a red light then flipped the fuck out when someone almost hit her. Lady had no idea how lucky she was to be alive.

I agree, cabbies can be terrible. I like Uber too, but I’ll use a cab if it’s quicker. Went to Montreal last year for a batchelor party. Trying to get 15 guys to go to one place is like herding cats. Getting Ubers/Cabs lined up, making sure they all had the right address, etc. Anyway, one idiot decides to call an Uber

Star for twatwaffle. I need to remember that one.

You saying it happened near AC made it much more believable, at least to me.

Yup, bike acts as a gyroscope. Faster speeds means more stability.

Small world indeed. I can’t believe they re-opened Action Park. Anybody die yet?

Ahh, I was born/raised south of there, nowhere near anything in the show. I live up by Parsippany now, pass the Bada Bing every time I go east on 80 to get anywhere.

Fellow NJ resident, born and raised here. Has always been, and always will be, the definition of IROC. Makes me love those cars even more.

You’ve got a steady job and a dog before 30 years old. I’d say that’s a good life for sure. Can’t blame you at all on the European women preference. My wife-to-be is probably the most European-minded American born woman I’ve ever met. Spent time growing up in France, so she keeps me in duck confit and Nutella, I’m not

Ugh, everyone needs to be a special little snowflake now. It makes me so angry. Just be yourself. If you want to fit in, fit in. Don’t be different just to be different. Be different if it makes you happy.

I believe all 4.3’s were iron blocks. The turbo 4.3 they put in the Syclone/Typhoon was the same iron block with upgraded internals IIRC.
