What are you talking about? Microsoft hasn't "tripped up", did you completely miss the article about how used games will have NO FEES for the Xbox One? It allows used games, you buy the game at Gamestop or whatever, used, and you can play it when you get home without paying anything except what you paid at Gamestop.

It's unsurprisingly overlooked in any of her arguments, likely ignored because it doesn't fit the agenda and actually runs 100% in controversy to her stance.

I wonder what Anita thinks of the Tomb Raider reboot. It has a damsel in distress in Sam, but instead of trying to be being rescued by a "male power fantasy", the person who is trying to rescue her is a woman who becomes increasingly badass as the game progresses.

I find it ineffable that she can, with a straight face, reference Mirror's Edge and Beyond Good and Evil, and then in the same breath IMMEDIATELY DISMISS these games because "the damsel in distress trope still exists".

You rock sir. I have to agree with you. Her viewpoint is overly simplistic and frankly, I feel like she applies a fine-tooth comb to things that never were meant to bear that level of scrutiny.

I agree in part.

It's a really difficult place to be when you say that you're not a fan of Sarkeesian. Especially after the torrent of immature man-babies who attacked her, any hope of sensible argumentation of her points was thrown out the window. The attitude (especially on Kotaku sister site, Jezebel) seems to be simple; you

It does strike me as kind of cowardly.

It's bully pulpit style, and it's not fair. If your focus is criticism, then you need to be open to it as well.
