I liked the anime, but pacing can be off at times. Seconds go by when nothing happens, although maybe that’s just mimicking real life. Nevertheless, I concur it’s a feel-good show too. (Maya!)

If you mean the 1999 Mummy, then yeah I agree. Makes me wish that movie could’ve kicked off the Dark Universe franchise instead of the rebooted film.

Be excellent to each other. And party on!

I know a friend from college who liked both series for their quick-witted dialogue.

First answer that comes to mind is Pushing Daisies too. I’ll always come back to the show for its alive-again heart instilled in its characters, when they ache and when they have their little victories.

Eva Green was brought up during fancasting for Lady Loki. Why not still make her a variant? Let’s not turn Sylvie into the Smurfette of the Loki variants.

Yeah I’m mixed on Loki and the finale. The show as a whole really did feel like a prologue. I mean, sure, seasons can end on cliffhangers but I’m having a hard time articulating why this feels off compared to how a non-MCU show would end a season.

Will the prequel series pave the way for Dawn of the Pink Ladies and War for the Pink Ladies?

Elmer’s armed again.

If the guest actor rules can specify the maximum amount of episodes (supposedly 50%) for potential nominees to qualify, surely a minimum, more substantial time can be set, too.

You’re close with when the movie is taking place. It’s hinted in the poster below.

I loved Bao, which was immensely relatable not just for having an Asian mom but for her being overprotective during my formative years. I’m hoping for similar tearjerking moments for Turning Red, which looks very promising.

Aversion to Gus aside, I loved this episode. Behrad needed his own storyline for a while now and Shayan Sobhian nailed it, including his greasy alternate self.

Ah that’s good to know thanks! I was so confused by the fictional show’s title and thought it was a play on words with “pigsty”. It could be both but your explanation sounds better.

Yeah as much as people called him a Baby Yoda clone, he was more of a fuzzy Gremlin to me.

The Lorem Ipsum poster was great. Good job to the prop designer and whoever came up with that thriller/detective(?) spoof.

The only other MCU exceptions for shuffling the major credits to start the movie are the Guardians of the Galaxy films. The purpose I think are they establish the tone of the films moving forward.

Tapir, not aardvark.

Miss Minutes stalling was very reminiscent of the keys from Get Out.

I cackled so hard at that one. This is next level MCU-memery.
