She’s probably sore from Spooner shooting a hole in the Waverider and coming close to putting her out.

CGR’s a possibility, sure. His true identity is already someone in the defunct Netflix universe but Disney isn’t beholden to that canon.

Thanks for the informative reply. I was too focused on assessing the representation that I didn’t consider it could be categorized in distinct ways. Which are, as you said, race-blind casting and cultural representation.

Oh flip, I forgot about Miss America. Yes, definitely!

I would love to hope Robbie heads into the main MCU. But the connection between that and Agents of SHIELD has been restricted to a one-way street. Maybe Robbie’s Ghost Rider can still make a return but the chances are slim.

Yeah the lack of a prominent Latino hero so far has stood out to me. Zoe Saldana is great as Gamora, but the character is a green-skinned alien. Tessa Thompson is a quarter-Mexican so Valkyrie is the closest representation, but the character is Asgardian. I think it still counts...or not?

Good to have this show back. Sad that Quinta Brunson isn’t returning - I wonder how the Chris sketches will work without his partner, Lashel. And how will they explain Quinta’s absence from the apocalypse storyline? (please don’t kill her off, unless she can be resurrected)

The few times I’ve flown on airlines, it was usually to and from the States via Cathay Pacific. And they have always served good meals.

There’s more than five episodes - a second part is coming later in the year. Your point still stands about allotting more to the animation budget.

I think that’s Ashley Park from the Mean Girls musical.

And she doubled down on criticism of Jacqueline and an Asian character by dedicating an episode to Titus doing a geisha performance.

There’s also a currently unreleased French-Japanese documentary, Satoshi Kon: La Machine À Rêves. The trailer has been taken down but there will be interviews with Japanese staff and contemporaries among others.

I believe the story about who killed the Thrombley patriarch is self-contained within the first movie. Benoit Blanc will be the only character transferring over to the sequels to solve other mysteries across the States.

That casting would have gotten me to watch this show.

Yep that’s right. I saw the film four years ago and the deaths took me by surprise. Seeing a young Donald Sutherland in a supporting role was neat too.

Paraphrasing what other folks have said, the Squad will likely be whittled down within the first third of the movie into a smaller group of antiheroes.

I haven’t seen this movie out of the first five or six. And yeah I saw Trail of the Pink Panther, released after Peter Sellers’ death. Don’t bother with that one.

I have not watched this movie enough to catch all these actors everyone is naming - by which I mean I’ve only seen it twice in my kid years.

Nope, and her last name isn’t even Cameron.

I knew there was something amidst when Senor Scratchy never showed his furry face again after residing in Agatha’s witchy basement.
