if driven nicely.

The real problem is, Can you drive these nicely? I will give you a hint, it is not yes.

Utter right-wing nonsense. Both travel with staff and ask people to be aware of their broader impact on the world and others. Traveling is not hypocrisy if you’re spreading mindfulness.

I spent amount two minutes trying to figure this out.

Maybe.. I guess technically the VW TDIs are no longer for sale. So yea, sure.

You could argue, as with Al Gore, that advocating to any audience larger than themselves has the potential to drastically overcompensate towards a positive in environmental awareness than “just staying at home.”

We’re talking about him. That’s more than the last Pope got me to do.

He is the Pope, so..

It’d take a miracle for it not to break down on him...

“Luigi, you see that lovely girl over there? Ya? She winked at me, Luigi.”

Thanks! Oh.. you meant the Pope. Yea sure

I knew it was ugly, but from this angle it makes me want to tear out my eyes.

I love this guy. He is doing good, amazing things.

Meanwhile, at the EPA

A vast, empty room. Large enough to fit several elephants that no one from Volkswagen wanted to discuss at the moment.

Based on the awkward feeling I got thinking about attending this event, I can only imagine how much more awkward it was actually attending.

No. Standard regulatory lockdown. Authorities don’t want any more action until they can get a handle on it and come up with rules/policies. You’ll see the same with food, drugs, epidemics, any crisis where regulatory bodies are involved.

Agreed - After finding out that VW essentially falsified their emissions tests for 7 years, the EPA isn’t going to accept that the new engines don’t do something similar just because VW pinky-swears that it doesn’t.
