Why do so many cars have only front DRLs, not rear? So many people drive at night with no rear lights on.

Because a Discovery is designed to climb large objects, like a Yaris, if the driver had tackled the obstacle at a slower speed, the Discovery would have mounted the Yaris just fine.

My brother worked on an old episode of Grand Tour and told me how obnoxious some of the team are, but it was also great fun. A lot of the filming used body doubles wearing masks (my bro got to be May for most of the day). It’s all scripted and our three heros actually have very little input - but apparently that was a

Looks like a Range Rover. And the rear quarter glass is slopping the wrong way to be a true BMW (should lean back, not fall forward).

Also doubles-up as a hedge trimmer (and a head trimmer too!)

Mk1 Peugeot 106. Wonderfully basic.

Maybe the bus had standing passengers and performing an emergency stop would risk their safety? Or the bus driver was just peeved with the driver of the Eclipse.

Bright sunny day, two clear paths, and a collection of massive rocks in the centre. Why did the Tesla not see the rocks and perform an emergency stop? If those rocks had been a family admiring the wonderful Yosemite vista, would the Tesla have plowed straight into them?

Touch screens! Surely this is the ONLY answer!

I’m sure Elon will be working on an X-Ray vision feature to fix this.

Fix that image for you...

Sisu. Also Ladas were so popular in Finland (still are) that many Finns (including my Finnish girlfriend) seem to think they are a Finnish car company!

I actually saw one of these beasts on the road about a year ago (M1, South Yorkshire, England). Looked as impressive and aggressive as the photo suggests. Got a good look because we were stuck in very slow moving traffic!

It’s not unusual to find cars left at Glastonbury. Kids buy a cheap car with no insurance or MOT just to get them to the festival along with lots of cheap kit (tent, sleeping bag, etc), food and gallons of beer. Once the festival’s over and all the beer is drunk, they leave it all behind and catch the bus home.

As a British person, can I ask what’s the best car for learning automatic? (/s) We’ve just replaced our office pool car and it’s an automatic, consequently everyone seems scared to drive it for that reason. Can I also ask, what the hell do you do with your left foot in an automatic, it seems to have no purpose! ;)

Loving the posh umbrella used to hold the bonnet open at start of Harry’s Testarossa review video.
