It’s not your day’s fault.

Maybe I am just having a bad day, but this just strikes me as sick AF. Fuck Shell, IGN and those streamers and I am glad that people are pushing back.

It’s boiling down a mechanic to its most superficial function, and then judging it solely on that, something that Bethesda has been more and more guilty of.

1) I don’t understand the complaints about the menus. It took me all of 10 seconds to figure out, if I’m rounding up. They aren’t convoluted. That said, I do agree with the grumbling at the lack of an item lock preventing you from selling stuff.

I just... don’t get people who spend all their time walking around not really *doing* anything in games.

Conversely, all of the Crimson Fleet / UC SysDef quest markers were bugged out of existence on mine, so I ended up having to look up walkthroughs just to figure out where the heck I was supposed to go. Quest was still good, though.

I played through the main story, Crimson Fleet, SysDef, and a smattering of side quests plus a little NG+ over around 70 hours. It was fun, but I hit the point where I’m ready to put it down and wait for a hopefully improved experience to see the rest of the game in a year or two. Just way too many baffling,

Don’t get me wrong: I agree it’s a bad look for lawyers. But tattoos are also a bad look for lawyers. Which is also ridiculous. Why should anyone care what computer I use if I’m good at my job and this is the computer I use to do it?

Because as far as lawyers go, it’s a bad look. And it gives Kotaku a good excuse to malign Trump, which is always a good thing.

Wait. Wait.

“Don’t you worry Mr. Trump, you’re in good hands! I’ve got an interactive program on here about how to be an Ace Attorney, and it’s never steered me wrong. I tell ya, we’ve got this one in the bag!”

Also bodes well for his legal team: This attorney forgot to ask for a trial by jury. That means this judge (that she and Trump have spent weeks publicly vilifying) will determine all damages and guilt on his own.

I get music producers and content creators using gaming laptops, since the specs translate well into those fields, but this sounds like “I had this for games and can’t be bothered keeping my personal and professional life separate” which sure bodes super great for this legal team.

Wizards of the Coast did this not too long ago with their OGL “update”.

Except it IS a new game. The story is different. It was slight and mysterious in the first part, but its becoming more and more different in the second. The third is probably going to be wild.

It's not as if Remake is 1/3 of a game. It has a clear story arc with a conclusion of sorts, and content wise at least it is longer than many other stand-alone games.

Seconding that.... I’d be tempted to debate the “writing” aspect in modern Bethesda games. Not that there isn’t bits of questlines here and there that aren’t really good but how the *structure* of the world kind of negate a lot of it in my opinion after playing these games for a while(I’d actually purchased Skyrim on

So I got through the two capital planets...and still haven’t found the world building, environmental storytelling, or writing. When does it start?

At the moment most of it seems to have been made by an LLM “AI”.

I mean he isn’t wrong. Outside of those tiny buildings with not much inside, almost every other building has Skyrim and Fallout 4 levels of loading screens. I noticed that in the 20ish or so hours I’ve played so far. Even a random small cave I went in on a random planet with almost nothing inside aside from a few

Do you have it installed on an SSD or an HDD? If it’s on an HDD that could be your issue.
