I would hate to the be one firing anything against an A-10, it had better down it or you will find out what that gun does. BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!

But we had tanks in the field and boats in the water in Vietnam too. The tanks were forgettable sure but how do you forget the PT boats?
As others here have said, this is about the perceived (real) militarization of local police forces feeding on Federal money.
Yeah, that's not really the main thing I'm concerned with. It's more the whole police forcing you off the road and then they pretend "oh, yeah, it's voluntary, definitely". Yeah, when police, in uniform with lights and stuff at a roadblock, ask me to do something, it's already not voluntary.
My take is that this a good move on NHTSA's part. It was tough for them to justify calling the program "voluntary" when its contractors secretly record drivers' breath alcohol levels before getting their permission. While I'm still not too fond of the idea of police forcing drivers into the roadblocks, as it gives the…
This is...a bad move. This is basically like ryan air giving you free snacks vouchers on your next flight for keeping you illegally detained for hours and hours. All this will be is salt in the wound for people upset about this issue. This is literally worse than doing nothing.
Huffy.
Five years? That's bull shit. Keep that thing in service at least seven years. And whatever new vehicle he gets needs to have some top of the line power train technologies to keep our bullshitter-in-chief from looking like an even bigger hypocrite. That thing better get at least 20 mpg.
Whatever it is, it needs to have a big bed in the back with room enough for some oil executives, a couple tobacco CEOs, and some pharmaceutical lobbyists (and if they could bring a few of those drugs reps with the short skirts and the rolling suitcases, that would be great.)
And that does it for the year on Marlin's highlights folks.
And to think, my '69 800A is smaller and has considerably more rust than the above Scout II. I will say, the lack of power steering and power brakes makes me a VERY cautious driver when I'm out and about in it. I think everyone could benefit from a little time behind the wheel of a vehicle that FORCES you to drive…
In the '80s there was a company selling dual tires, mainly aimed at performance cars. I think Car and Driver did a test. The tires made a Porsche 928 look like a dually. Where are they now...
Reminds me of those Twin Tread tires they used to always have ads for in MT and C/D.
Looks like some of her message got lost in translation.
A model franchise isn't defined by a lack of conflict, but by how professionally it deals with it.
Obama will never, ever do anything that would lead directly to lower oil and gas prices. It goes against everything he stands for, on several different levels.
Or we could approve the Keystone XL pipeline and remove the laws forbidding the export of US crude. That would also drive down the global price of oil and make Canada happy.
