Where's Angel Hernandez when you need him?

If it's not Boeing ,I'm not going.. Amazed that the wing stayed attached.

The high beltlines and small rear windshields. Side impact bla bla blah. If you can't see a car , you can't avoid a car.

It's fun to see old technology recycled.. Wright aircraft engines used turbocompounding with a hydraulic drive, Porsche and the F1 teams are doing it electrically. Fun to look at the Flight magazine archives and see " new" technology. NACA briefs are a good source also.

Been there ,done that. Left leg goes looking for work.

Weight savings and helping transfer to the rear wheels.

It's turbo compounding , but done electrically ,instead of being directly geared to the crank. I wish the FIA had left some wrinkles open to permit different techniques.

Seconded! My 2007 is still storming along at 134,000 miles The 2014 Buick GS looks like it should be a tasty nugget too. AWD, 259 HP, 295 TQ ; I could stretch for someting like that. GMPP can get it to 300HP with minor tuning .. Brembo brakes make it a nice stable mate for my wife's LaCrosse.

If there's no lock , just jam the gas cap under the handle. Easy-peasy.

Nope ! Wright Turbo compound , or if you want to go Diesel, Napier Nomad

He should buy the guy who welded the cage a BIG bottle of whatever he wants! Good job building the car.

Stock block mayyyybe , stock heads on a Robert Yates engine? NEVER!

If you want to grind it out in detail, head for www.bobistheoilguy.com . More info than you can shake a funnel at. ZDDP is great stuff , but poisons catalysts. Since most cars are roller lifter equipped , it becomes moot for 90+ % of the cars out there. Also , car companies don't necessarily want the maximum engine

Looks like a Jensen Interceptor from the rear

My Speed3 currently sits at 128k miles with no ill effects

Gimme the 'yota all day long. 22R engine will go on forever, and RWD .

It also makes metals brittle ..Not good

Never mind Brandon Roy .. there's a lot of everyday schmoes who have nuked themselves setting tile, or gotten in an accident ...

That was Kyle Petty and Kevin Harvick ,IIRC
