This has been happening more and more on Deadspin in the comments section. I have nothing against a writer taking a side in an article they write, but to remove any comments that disagree with the writer (or provide facts that dispute/disprove any positions taken or claims made by the writer), it just becomes a Fox

This makes this article seem rather childish and poorly researched.

And delete any comments referring to that statement:

That is almost certainly why no one will comment. All the people/orgs listed are either parties or potential witnesses, and I would expect that all of them have been put on notice that they could be subpoenaed to testify if they haven’t been already.

If my employer was being sued and a reporter asked me to comment on the thing the lawsuit was about I’d probably avoid talking about it too.
