Yeah I hate for the narrative behind his death to be "it's sad because he was good at baseball," but wow he was so good. 29-2 with a 1.49 ERA at home at 24 years old is just insane, seems like he could have been an all-time great. Just tragic, and incredibly stunning.

24, unbelievably talented, with an incredibly difficult life behind him and a wide open future ahead. He meant a lot to the Cuban American community too, and (worst of all) his girlfriend is 3 months pregnant with their first child. Just plain fucking horrible.

R.I.P. Arnold. Also just want to say how sad Jose Fernandez's death today was, because it is absolutely heartbreaking. That press conference with Mattingly and the team was devastating to watch, an absolute gut punch.

The whole schtick they're doing here really reminds me of Ben Schwartz's early skits, which are fucking hilarious:

Hell yes to Knife Man. Love 22 a Million too, but I still need to spend a lot more time with it. Shit yeah I need some Kanye on my list too, definitely MBDTF

Yeah there are some damn good b-sides, especially with all the Songs from the Black Hole stuff. Blast Off! is a jam, and I Just Threw Out the Love of My Dreams is probably one of my five favorite Weezer songs. But none of them would improve Pinkerton at all, its sequencing and length are already perfect.

Nah you're probably pretty normal, I'm just too damn indecisive and like too many things I guess to ever elevate any single one as my definitive favorite. My top five (in no particular order) would probably/maybe be "Pinkerton," "The Velvet Underground & Nico," "Pet Sounds," "69 Love Songs," & "In the Aeroplane Over

Same. I don't know if I could ever name just one "favorite album," but it's absolutely one of my five or ten favorites of all time

Pinkerton is a fucking incredible album.

Hoooly shit I had no clue that was Renee Zellweger until her name popped up. Still not sure it's her honestly

One of my current favorite bands, and yeah that first album is perfect for the fall

Literally everything this guy touches turns to solid gold. Quote Unquote Records have a ton of great non-Rosenstock music for free on their website too, highly recommended

"Crash" is gorgeous, no idea why it hasn't taken off on pop radio

Guava snowcones are a game changer.

The best/only memorable part about this boring mess of a movie was the giant Krispy Kreme Hot and Ready sign hanging in the middle of the dining room of the hundred-plus year old house that is never once mentioned or explained. The most bizarre product placement I've ever seen.

"You know Aviato?"
"Yes…Aviato"
"My Aviato?"
"Is there any other Aviato?"
"Well, legally there cannot be…"

The fact that it's still not available on Blu-Ray is a travesty.

His scene in Superbad is just pure comedy gold, so fucking hilarious

I highly recommend Wilder's autobiography, it's a great read

I don't know whether to applaud you for this decision or chastise you for not already owning it
