I felt like SJ was too long for what it accomplished, and I wasn't as happy with it after watching it. But I found that the optimism of it was refreshing. For a show that tends to balance the good and bad of technological advances, this is one that seems like it has no real downside.
Although, similar ideas were

Is anyone else getting annoyed with the huge number of tattoos in modern porn? I don't mind smaller ones, but they're getting really big, and I think it distracts from being able to understand the shape of their bodies.

Arts are not a meritocracy.

Facebook hadn't really taken off while I was in college (finishing in 2003).
But I've found that it isn't other people that bother me too much. It's usually that most of it is navel gazing, and there isn't much encouragement.
I've tried a few different approaches; I've been introverted, rarely posting anything.
I've

I wonder if someone could make a mashup between Velvet Underground - Cool it Down and New Edition - Cool it Now

I'm the only person I know who listens to Herman's Hermits. I can't even find anyone else that stands them.

My 2-year warranty on my Prius runs out next August. I've only made it to 12,000 miles. I'm hoping that I might be able to reach the next checkup point before that warranty runs out.

At least you got some warning so you can do something nice at the end. Weimaraners tend to get the twisted stomachs, which kills them a lot faster.
While I'm not looking forward to my dog dying, I am looking forward to being able to let her eat whatever she feels like.

I was immediately drawn to thinking about Under The Dome. I have a bad feeling about this.

Yeah, well, George W. Bush doesn't regret invading Iraq.

Red Robin has been carrying poutine on-and-off for awhile. Even though my parents grew up in Wisconsin, I had never had cheese curds.

I'll buy just about anything Beatles related.
I'm disappointed with the stereo masters, but I think they're fairly interesting. I'd rather that there was more of an effort made to remix the albums to update them. But that might bother some fans.

My wife and I reached an agreement, and I'm going in for a vasectomy. This has actually been a major "up" in my life. It removed a sense of background tension, and it's actually made me much more affectionate to her. I think it has also made her feel a bit more relaxed about things as well.

For all of my Beatles covers, I use the head from my freshman year school picture. It's about…22 years old now. One of my co-workers said it was a "shit-eating grin"

I already have strange toenails. My big toenails used to get ingrown all the time, so they did this procedure where they clipped off the side of them and killed the roots. That adjusted the direction the nail would grow, so they don't get ingrown, but they have a strange ridge down the middle.

My wife really liked that MLP episode - she's in grad school, and she felt like it was sort of the equivalent of Twilight Sparkle earning her doctorate.

Weird thought:
Over the last several weeks, I've had this odd feeling that I would like to have my toenails painted. I have no idea why. It isn't sexual at all, it just seems like a curiosity. I imagine that after having it done, I'd probably be sated, and I'd remove it.
Of course, my wife is game for painting them.
