Ladies and gentlemen I present to you...

To all the eventual commenters complaining about three pedal lovers, it’s all about this:

In my workplace, the women are the most horrible catty two-faced gossips, so, not convinced that one gender is more likely to be good if the power were balanced between the two. (I am a woman).

Actually, they do a little bit of everything well enough for most people who want them. A high-riding wagon or hatch is what people really want, and that’s what they are.  High enough to get in and out of easy, easy to load stuff, good enough mpg, comfy ride over bad roads, a good daily driving appliance.

> What’s the freakin’ point?

Although I agree with your sentiment, I understand why many have ditched lower riding cars for X-overs.

why.....? Do you hate the Humane Society that much....?

Seriously?   That would be the ultimate irony..... car with dozens of fake vents, suffering from lack of air flow.   If only there were an obvious solution.

Can you verify at which trim level righteousness shifts to entitlement?

Remember back when we could star an article? Those were good times. Nice article, David.

Good choice of a truck. I got a 1500 Dodge Ram Rebel with a 5.7 l and I averaged 17 miles to the gallon City and Highway if just Highway I’ve had it up to 22 miles per gallon. Yes it is true and my Tradesman I carry a lot of stuff daily but I also like using it for personal use as there’s plenty of room inside for the

Yeeaah... My full size crew can has far more space in the rear seat than any typical sedan.

I have a ‘17 RAM 1500 with the 5.7L/8 speed combo. With mostly city driving, Im getting 15% better mpg on this than I was my ‘01 Frontier with a 3.3L V6.

Yet again another idiot. I had a 2015 f150 supercrew and there is so much room in the back like you wouldn’t believe. You can have rear facing car seats and still have the front seats all the way back and reclined pretty aggrevively. No car has that sort of rear leg room short of luxobarges like an A8L or something,

You obviously have never been in a super cab pickup truck... because if you had been you would know there is a solid 2-3 feet of leg room, or for his case extra room to move his seat back.

Automotive guilty pleasure? Using and daily driving my Ram 1500 just knowing that it pisses off people like you!

What was the last truck you drove? They are incredible now. My F150 xlt is way nicer then my brothers Inifinti to cruise around in. Handling wise they are good, not as razor sharp, but comfortable.

OR, parking lots could be laid out to accommodate the actual size of vehicles that utilize them, instead of pretending that everyone drives compacts.

I recognize this may get buried here, as it goes against the prevailing point of view, but I want to provide a counterpoint.
