I've had both diesel one ton Dodge Ram and Chevy Silverados, and I only referred to them by their engine. IE: my Red Duramax, and my Gold Cummins. It's normal. No one says "my Silverado Duramax" it's redundant.

I'd take the 5.0 CTD over the VM Motori any day.

There is still plenty of separation, imo, between a nicely equipped 60 grand Tundra SUV and a ready for work 60 grand starter Land Cruiser. yeah, the value isn't there on paper, but people who know land cruiser know that its one of the last cars you can buy new that is built with the idea that luxury means well

I haven't driven the new Escalade yet, so I can't be certain, but by all accounts from Andrew Collins it's pretty swell in there. Not a long of bling in the Lex', not a lot of tech for a new car, but big honkin' V8 for sure. Not a lot of space, either, which is weird for such a big car. Lots of leather, though.

because it's based on an automotive legend, the Toyota Land Cruiser.

That was like 2 or 3 years ago, not a 2014 disappointment

In other news, C&D had not one but two C7s engines (LT1) fail on them. One at lightning lap and also their long termer loafing around on the highway (the one you mentioned). Weird that C&D just glazed over that. Both times they blamed it on parts of the oiling system.

its the same as the axle in the last gen power wagon, so its pretty stout.

Um...?

BAZ 5921 SS-21, made to do one thing. Fuck up shit.

If that is a real Swiss Cheese Catalina then that isn't a bad price.

Without the flag it wouldn't be recognizable.

A show called "The Duke Boys". Or "Life in Hazzard County".

Screw TV, I want Bullitt back on the silver screen! Anyone up for a Highland-Green Metallic GT350 chasing down a black Hellcat Challenger?

But no one will believe "I once drove an F250 with 6 doors and a 15 foot bed, a lift kit, and 40"s." They'll just nod and try not to laugh at you.

I can't believe I'm going to come out of internet commenting retirement for this, but... I have to do this.
