They have an awful reliability track record.
They have an awful reliability track record.
In my experience with growing up with 3, that simply isn’t true. The Redblock might be fine, but the accessories will drown in it’s oil, the electronics will never work right, and the trans will fail. It’s not a reliable car, even if the engine is robust. It’s great scrap.
At least they are reliable, unlike the Volvo box cars.
I feel the same way about Volvo up until the new XC90. The Volvo 240 is a terrible vehicle.
If the headline were completely true, and the victim were in the left lane, this wouldn’t have been a crime.
Mi8.
M228hybrid CVTdrive?
Lol. A V160 that back’s up the 2JZ is $5k + in itself.
Nah, Porsche adds AC and radio back for free on cars that were available without it.
They would be scrapped.
Yep. If you don’t have ramps or a jack and jack stands, you’ll need those. It’s a great, easy first wrenching job.
I like my cP-e. There is definitely more vibration, but it goes away after 1500 rpm. It feels so much better now, and from something that takes 10 minutes to do.
For example: The Cobb rear motor mount can over break in, and leave you back at square one. Plus, if you ever want to revert to stock, you can’t because Cobb uses a piece off of the old RMM that has to be broken off.
Because it’s B O R I N G
I got prodded into going last minute, and my only regret is not having a car to take on track. I got to ride in one of the RTR Spec 2's, and that was amazing, but I want to experience that more now. Can’t wait until next year!
Word of advice: If you get an Accessport, buy it from another tuner like Stratified, Tune+, Mountune, etc. You get all of the Cobb boxed tunes, plus much better tunes for around the same price. The only thing Cobb makes worth paying for over something else is the AP itself.
A large majority of cars at Gridlife were LS powered unfortunately.
Considering gaining a set of usable rear doors, less than 10" gained in length isn’t bad.
The 2.3 has a tendency to blow up. The 2.7 would be better.
He lives in Florida now, so...
