Kind of a hit and miss car. We had a T5 that after 3 months of trying to figure out what was wrong, we gave up on it and traded it possibly the most reliable piece of garbage ever built, a w-body Impala.
I thought that was more because of the switch to unleaded from leaded gasoline, than from emissions systems?
Technically Ford could sell them as Ford Racing add ons, and the roll cage I’m sure is mandatory.
Except 9/10 Toyota admits they have a problem, and fixes it. Unlike GM and their(not even going into their 2015) 5.3 with AFM oil burning problems, saying 2.5 quarts every 1000 miles is normal.
Except timing chain failure on the 22RE is nearly as common, and you can get home on blown gaskets, but not on an engine that jumped time.
Yep, I got my heads resurfaced and rebuilt after mine blew. That combined with the updated gaskets, I haven’t had any problems with it in 3.5 years of giving it complete hell.
FUCK that. The 22R was great, the 22RE is a circle jerk of garbage. My 3VZE has had way fewer problems than my buddy’s ‘94 pickup with the 22RE. Guess what plagues it? Head gaskets. The previous owner got rid of it because he was on his third set, and my friend is on his second, oh and the timing chain jumped. That’s…
Yep, plus are some awesome backroads in North Alabama and southern Tennessee.
The Altima is 10x more boring than the Camry.
Old Toyota trucks, even the newer ones, are a lot more fun than they should be. I love taking my companies Tacoma down a curvy road to a site. Even my lifted 4Runner is way more stable in the turns than it has any right to be, well at least when the front sway bar wasn't biased to a side.
I’m only joking. But, it wouldn’t surprise me.
Cruiser will be dropped, simply because it rhymes with loser.
No, it’ll be all Ameritalian.
Dart hatch called Caliber confirmed.
Tipacul Amurican hat on diesels and wagons.
Y did u knot get teh wagon? Or at the very leest tha 28D? Diesel much better.
Using real people, not paid actors.
I lived in Milton for a few years(next to Pensacola), and the only thing surprising about this story is the lack of meth.
