When they put a 150hp @ 4800rpm motor in a nearly 2 ton SUV, it creates a bit of a joke.

Umm, the 3VZ-FE is a thirsty, gutless piece of shit. As an owner of one, I would never curse someone with that boat anchor.

My Mom has a 2nd generation GT, and it's relatively fun to drive and pretty reliable. It rides like shit though.

You can't forget the rebadged versions like the Vibe.

A built Cummins diesel attached to a built Allison for power, and keep the outside basically the same.

Unless autos have H-patterns now, those paddles are for rev-matching, like the Stingray.

Well, as one dude I go to school with learned this morning: Don't drive a GT500 on Pilot Sports in the ice and snow. He hit a fence.

Just moved to Pa. and Sheetz is the shit. Eating a pork pretzel bun sandwich from there now. It's awesome.

The 6.5 wasn't the most reliable diesel, but a Dmax Suburban would be sweet. There are companies that do the swaps though.

The diesel option was gone by '99 or '00.

I had a '78 Subaru BRAT with a whopping 67 HP. It would get to seventy in about half the time my 4Runner will. Old Japanese trucks are incredibly light.

I hope this doesn't sound distasteful, but if I were a director of a movie with actors that had relatively dangerous hobbies, I would film a death scene or removal scene before filming in case of unfortunate events. It seems like that would make more sense.

Imagine if Lexus made an F version of the 86 triplets...

The coupe doesn't look bad. This on the other hand, is in the running with the Cross Cabrio. Its body is too tall, and the windshield is Mondialish.

It has a third seat, so technically yes.

It may not be the best example of realistic, but Need for Speed: Underground 2 has one feature I miss in every racing game I play. That feature is dyno tuning. I like that I could control where the power came from.

Other than the fact that you live in a CARB state, check engine lights and limp mode isn't a problem if it is done right. That's part of what a programmer is for.

When I said do all of the deletes, I meant do it right. There are plenty of people driving around deleted trucks getting a lot more power and 3-4 mpg better. They make these things called "programmers" and "tuners" that reflash the computer.

I had a Trailblazer with this and it was awful. Our Impala had a column shift, why couldn't it. I just wish they would bring back the Atlas.
