I’m not 100% on my hours, towards the end here I started slipping on keeping track in an exactly manner, but I think I have between 320 and 350 hours of my own labor into the project.

I sourced and funded all of the parts for the build.... I also paid for all of them. No vendor provided parts free of cost, just moderate to awesome discounts. The M54b30 weighs roughly 5lbs more than the cast iron M42 that came out. The M54b30 is also lighter than an M20b25. I made a 35lb penalty or so opting for the GS6-37BZ 6MT a number of other 5MT options, easily paid for with the overdrive 6th gear and a 3.46 locking rear end.
