I don't think you quite understood the premise of the story: that it was supposed to be a fairy tale.

Absolutely love this movie.
You'd have a point if it was once every couple of episodes. When a good chunk of the show is simply (mostly unimpressive) tits . . .
"the 13-year-old boy who is responsible for all the boobies."
That's very true, and better for the child if they can catch it so early.
Can't wait for the day when we can get photos like this of planets outside our solar system. Or at least of some of the more interesting moons.
The Time Traveer's Wife is a terrible book, and rather disgusting to boot.
What is even worse to think about is that Earth wouldn't have time to "rebuild" to how it is now, if it has to start over from scratch. The planet has an expiration date before the sun expands, and in that time life just wouldn't have time to start over.
In all honesty the Boy and the new family would only last another month, maybe two. As someone else mentioned there was no new growth, no life. Although I do like to imagine that somewhere, maybe Brazil or India, are left mostly untouched a-la the Toba Extinction Theory.
Cue the Sinoapologists in 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 -
Metal detecting is a great hobby - while we can still find great stuff in America, unfortunately only the *really* old stuff can be found in certain places (New England, etc).
These are AWESOME! So glad to see knitting enter the scifi world - for a while its been pretty prevalent in steampunk, but aside from that earflap hat in "Firefly" I hadn't seen anything.
I quite like the show. It has problems, but I still enjoy watching it.
No mentions of The Stand, sadly.
What is it with China and pseudoscience?
It's more that modern American English has more in common with British speakings from that time, then the people who live there now.
His views on Muslims are . . . less than enlightened. I used to post on the largest alternate history site on the web a few years ago when he joined, and it was enough to get him banned.
Can't wait for the day when we have telescopes powerful enough to glace at these planets.
Sliders?
I've talked with the author. He seems quite the right wing nut.
