The newer Batman games aren't movie tie-ins.

I've never been a huge Star Wars fan, but I do like RPGs and the KotOR games have always intrigued me... Is it worth playing through both, or is one better than the other? Are they directly connected?

I dunno, the script and direction was pretty shitty, but if I think I could have salvaged things. It all depends on how anal Lucas was about improvisation...

But yeah, the short version is - great writing, killer style, and really robust/interesting gameplay, particularly in the second game.

Up until twelve years ago, I would have said Star Wars. I wanted to be a Jedi so badly. In fact, my childhood dream was to play Anakin Skywalker in the not-yet-made prequels because I felt like he and I were on the same trajectory and I would have been perfect for the role.

Fox uses this formula to kill off all their Sci-Fi programming. It worked for Firefly, Space Above and Beyond and countless others.
