Man, as a dm I don't have the patience for that. If I spent all that time on the tape I'll damn well make sure they hear it one way or another. :p

Outer Worlds for me, started last night and I'm liking it. Basically a firefly sim so far, haha. Might also dip back into dead cells, even though I'm awful at it.

Prey is pretty great. I got around 75% through it before I got distracted by dead cells, but it's quite fun. And yes, the Witcher 3 is incredible.

Started it last night (it unlockedon Xbox at 9:00pm pst). Love the style - heavy firefly vibes, which I am here for. Few niggling things though - I've got a 65" 4k hdr tv that I sit around ten feet from, and the text is just too tiny. On top of that, some of the flavor text for items and weapons is dark grey on light

I had some money last year so I bought a ps4 pro (my first ps4) and a Xbox one x (upgrading from a og xbone). I thought my xbone would be gathering dust by now, but thanks to game pass I haven't turned on the ps4 in months. The exclusives were great, but I played the ones I was interested in and moved on. Meanwhile

I just started dm’ing my first campaign (with custom races and a homebrew campaign) using 5e, having played tabletop maybe twice before, but having spent twenty five years playing RPGs on computer and console. I kind of intuitively included all these rules, and it’s so great not to drag down the game. Other things

I love old boxes and manuals... I so, so wished I kept mine. Kings Quest V and VI both had fantastic manuals. Homeworld had basically a sci-fi novel for a manual. The island of dr. Brain had the encyloalmanacitionaryography, which was incredible. So many memories.

The weirdest thing for me is realizing that I used to play southpaw in Goldeneye - I played solitaire, analog stick with left hand for freelook and c buttons with right hand for forward/backward and strafe. I tried to map the controls to a modern controller recently while playing on emulator and everything I tried

Yeah I know rollout day is the same, but not sure if it'll have identical content or not.

Anyone know if the content will be the same internationally? And by international I mean Canada. I sure hope so.

I've done it with shows too - pushing daisies and Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip in particular.

I've done this with so many games. Witcher III (Blood and Wine), pretty much every assassins creed since syndicate, Prey, so many others. I'm a chronic unfinisher, largely for this reason.

Does IGN ever give anything other than a 9 or a 3?

I'm actually happy about this, I was just getting into hitman on game pass and they pulled it. Yay!

Man, remember the days when, in order to play a game, you had to:

I’m not sure how it’s a rip off. I pay 17$ Canadian for ultimate. For that I get two-three games a month I can keep forever, and access to more games than I could possibly play. I've spent hundreds on games in the past - I'm happy at this stage in my life to be able to pay one monthly fee for all my gaming needs. I

Space quest... 'you take the ladder and shove it into your pocket. Ouch!'

It's defs not a castlevania game, but it's a great God of War clone - and weirdly enough, one of my wife's favorite games. Her other is my time at Portia. I can't figure out her tastes for the life of me.

Yeah, I just tried again recently, and it was painful. I actually don't mind the graphics or the frame rate, but I'm finding it very difficult to map the controls to a modern controller. I used to play solitaire (analog stick for aiming, c buttons for strafing and forward/back). But it just feels wrong on a modern

Yeah I was a Nintendo kid. The first three games came out for N64, and the next couple came out on Gamecube. Man the gamecube was an awesome little system.
