My dad commuted almost every day of my parents’ 46 years together. He’s still waiting for parole.

The new Jaguar XE is actually pretty damn nice, especially if you want something different.

Because she can? Because she wants to? What’s it to you

I’m going to say either Patrick’s ATS-V suggestion or Ballaban’s CTS-V wagon are equally correct choices. Either one would improve her life bigly.

From the Singer owner’s manual:

There’s a lot I love about this car. It almost has an Alfa Giulia thing going on ... love it.

Fatal problem: it shares a marque– and decades of previous baggage, good or bad –with the following vehicles:

Plenty of Jalops will buy the 2018 Stinger - in 2026.

Wait, are you telling me that lying and cheating *weren’t* part of the housing market collapse?

Lying to the government about emissions is totally way worse than killing people with exploding air bags. If those stupid people would just not crash into things, there would never be this problem!

Arrest him. I get it. So when are we going to start arresting Takata executives that knew about their defective airbags and kept selling them to every car manufacturer on the planet. False equivalency once again.

So we arrest a VW executive because a diesel engine emits a bit more pollution than is acceptable, but bankers who crashed the country and made off with billions after the 2008 crash walk free?

Not in his wildest dreams will he find one under $40k, but yes, that is an excellent option.

Chevy SS. Get the extended warranty from Chevrolet.

I for one am super excited about this! I would love to see a world where we have some affordable, very sporty, hybrid cars. I’ve always been on the Chevy side of the fence when it comes to the pony cars, but this could easily tip me over to get Ford’s favorite horse.

Actually, nobody I know (IRL) thinks the Model S is a serious looker. That may be because there are a LOT of them around here and they’re not unique anymore. Not knocking it, I love the utility of the Model S, but no Tesla, and no EV yet, passes the look back test. Beauty is not why people buy them.

mentioned at CES yet not in the article: the chrysler portal still loves at home with its parents, a caravan and a town and country, it feels as though it should be able to drive its full 250 mile range, yet without actually charging for it, and it hopes to make an immediate impact, but not in a bad way.

This is basically showing off the culture there to young Chinese. There’s a real “company man” work ethic over there that is sort of scary to a Westerner but is frankly no different than what you see in a lot of East Coast finance and really hard charging Silicon Valley companies. Remember, Google provides all those
