That would be an awesome thing to do for your local polling stations. If I had to sit and sign people in to vote all day (and potentially deal with assholes), I’d really appreciate pastries and coffee while doing it.

There is nothing wrong with transferring into a better school and doing your intro credits somewhere else. I can’t knock it too much, since I have taught at community colleges and “teaching” colleges for years. A majority of my students are transferring. It saves you a lot of $$$$.
The school is a private school. PRIVATE means that the school does not have the same obligations to educate students if there are behavior issues. The parents of the children signed a contract saying that their children will obey the rules of the school. If they do not, they can be expelled.
He went to Fordham for 2 years and transferred into Wharton. Considering his family’s wealth and connections, he must have done horribly in high school to not be able to get in as a Freshman.
