I wouldn’t be so worried about “the little death that brings total obliteration” as “the big fall onto very sharp rocks and more literal obliteration and lots of pain.”

Best part of it for me is that if it sucks (looking unlikely), I can write it off as one of Roland’s shittier treks toward the tower.
