yeah, seems like you should have a prototype at least

that sounds reasonable i guess. let it be done.

i think i can agree with you there! everyone should know how to function properly at a 4-way stop. including bicycles. Should we allow groups of bicycles to proceed as one unit, or make them take individual turns?

"as far to the right as possible" isn't the same from different points of view. as a cyclist i ride to the right more than most. i'm not going to ride over broken glass and gravel though. and i'm not going to ride 2 inches from cars parked on the right. and to consider yourself 'in the way of traffic' when any car is

or just keep your hand on the right side and walk

i think it's pretty silly to think that people on bicycles are incapable of taking care of themselves. they don't want to die. they're trying to avoid cars, not hit them. i always considered driver anger against cyclists was a jealousy thing. they're jealous that the bikes are going faster than they can. and i said

to prevent any confusion, what i meant was that the CAR sped and didn't obey all the traffic laws themselves. and i bet that if bicycles DID obey all the laws then drivers would complain even more for being in the way and slowing them down.

small point, you say "we focus our fears on the handful of 30 pound vehicles moving half that fast". don't forget to add the mass of the person riding it.

i used my grandfather's old reel mower for my townhouse lawn for several years and can offer a few observations.

i read that, but that seems like a terrible way to design a flag since you pretty much always see only one side of it at a time. i'm not sure i buy it

yeah, i looked around and found some articles (that seemed to be written by the same person) and several of them seem to have the same mistake in them:

i'm sorry, but can you explain how this is 13 stripes?

yeah, but you'll be an outcast because of your creepy gills

so when you drive your car you ALWAYS come to a complete stop and obey the speed limit at all times?

people on bicycles aren't pedestrians. pedestrian laws don't apply.

from what little i've read, they actually just wanted to see if seeing depressing stuff would affect you, and how. they didn't know ahead of time that it would definitely cause depression.

any time you use the internet you're paying someone to transmit it to you. does every internet company have to pay fees to the networks because they might have someone stream tv over their equipment? internet should be free so we can avoid potential future "can't pay another company" issues.

i'll take that into consideration in the future. did you notice the follow up comment that in one apartment building i could actually watch what other people were watching 'on demand'? that was pretty fun

i guess this is where the cable companies dominate you and the supreme court has forced you to get cable if you want to watch "free" television. for real though, if you don't need to watch it live, have you tried torrents?

in one apartment building i could actually watch what other people were watching on demand. you could see them pause movies and fast forward through non-porn parts of porn.
