Never happening. Ever.
Never happening. Ever.
They are also fighting their own wars. Not much room in the mindset for falling in love unless your a bonehead like Robb Stark.
I'm not so sure that he can "investigate" anything. I think he literally sees things at random. Maybe he saw that conversation with Varys to some degree? Maybe it's something that he saw in a montage of visions? Now that he's close to LF, things from his past may become clearer and thus revealing to Bran in the…
I agree. We all know that he has ZERO to contribute to the endgame of GoT. Every time he pops on screen it's more of like, "okay, we know you are dying. Just die already!"
I actually don't think he has any clue of what's coming to him. He thinks that Sansa is still under his spell, thinks that Bran is bat-shit crazy, and thinks that Arya and Jon aren't smart enough to figure him out.
I literally busted out laughing there. Such a great callback to the former "Prince who was Promised."
No. She doesn't really know much about him.
I keep spam ads in the GoT threads. Please be sure to flag as "inappropriate" and "spam" instead of just glossing over it.
Jaimie, despite all of his early misdeeds, deserves a true redemption on the show. You can see it clearly in the books, but the show has made him into a bit of a mindless zombie just following Cersie around. He can't be dead. He needs to align with Tyrion and have a true redemption by serving Dany. That would be…
I loved the drama of Jon's encounter with Theon. For a moment, I thought he would reluctantly embrace Theon. I was getting ready to be really pissed but Jon's reaction is exactly what I'd expected. He will never accept Theon but he has to curb his desire for revenge because of Sansa and his new alliance with Dany.
Good parallel. I forgot about that with the Blackwater. I was rooting for both sides on the T.V. show, but I recall in Clash of Kings I was rooting for mainly Tyrion on the Lannister side since Bronn and the Hound aren't as prevalent in the books during that sequence.
I think last season's was still the best, simply from a scale and cinematography standpoint, but last night's was great in its own right. It was VERY entertaining. I was pumped up throughout the whole thing, which is rare for me since I enjoy the politics and story over battle in GoT.
The detail was great too. There were several shots of bodies burned to a crisp and literally others that their ashes blew away. Amazing.
So, what do we think about Arya killing Littlefinger with his dagger? Has to happen right? I still wonder how they find out about his role in Ned's death. I think either Bran will have a vision or the Hound will show up and mention something about it. He has to have some knowledge of LF's involvement in Ned's death…
*Before anyone interjects, I will say that the very end was a bit weak. One of them, Jaimie or Bronn, should have died. Oh well, still a great episode.
In the history of T.V., I can't recall a battle that put the viewer in such an awkward position, as last night's episode of GoT did. I was rooting for Dany at first, but then I realized that Jaimie or Bronn or both could die and then found myself rooting for them at the same time. Great storytelling for the one of the…
Missandei is a pretty amazing looking human.
Yea, it was just oddly out of place. It's like they always struggle with dialog for her and just end up reverting back to the rant about her claim to the throne. We know. It's been 7 seasons of it. Now, what about the White Walkers?
I actually hope ASOIAF doesn't get a ghost writer. There's no way anyone can pick up this story, flesh it out, and complete it like GRRM. It's almost like how Apple is going down the tubes since Jobs died. You can't teach someone how to be passionate about your work.
Dany will not replace Tyrion. She needs a military leader, which will be Jorah when he returns.
