I follow and agree. It would've made a lot of sense for Dante to at least acknowledge what we were thinking, since nobody ever said it on the show. Without that, the now v. future tension is only in my head.

True, but I think that's an important part of Cage and the Mountain Men's character development. It's a very short sighted decision, but if they simply added Sky Crew into gene pool and waited, the current generation NEVER would've made it outside. Their kids would've been better off, but they wouldn't see the benefit.
