Well, even if they do make it, people might suggest a run or other play was better but it wouldn’t be as big a deal. E.g. Brady’s loop into the end zone that almost got intercepted. It was a bad call, if the Falcons catch that and end up scoring to win, that becomes a highlight. Now it’s not.
