You know, it's interesting that you both have made comments that I'm "too idealistic", when the other option - abolition of pornography - is apparently not too idealistic. If you want to smash patriarchy, you have to be willing to support people actually trying to offer people something new. But you can't just be a

"Just because it is your culture and tradition you don't get to mutilate your daughter's genitals, lock your wife away from the world or throw acid in her face."

Yeah, opposing the burka is Islamophobic and in my opinion, completely against the basic tenets of Feminism. The way women dress should be THEIR choice, end of discussion. So if Feminists have an issue with legislation regarding women's clothing, such as that in Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan, France and the

I hear what you're saying, but there are Feminists in literally every country of the world. I am a Muslim woman living in an Arab country, and I identify as a Feminist, as do many of my friends. Just because you don't agree with how some white people do Feminism doesn't mean that you can't just do it better.

I bet you're not far from my dental floss farm.

If she was wearing blackface and eating watermelon, yes, I'd be outraged. Of course there are people who'd say, "hey, it's only food". If they said that to me, I'd tell them that they are ignorant of the history: that powerful US racists created the hurtful, dehumanising image of the idiotic and simple-minded 'coon'

I am a white. I live in Japan. I grew up in Michigan, about an hour west of Detroit. Most of my friends were black growing up, but our neigborhood was pretty diverse. Michigan has a larger than average arab population, for the US, but we also had a lot of asians, and almost every other race growing up together too.

You should have just left it with the racism definition. It isn't because the target was white, it's because pointing out differences in races is not racism despite many who think it is.

White people's history of cultural and political dominance is excellent emotional insulation, it's true.

Gave the briefest look at his (definitely 'his') previous comments. Claims just today to be both a "white lesbian woman" and "a women [sic] of color." Definite MRA troll. Done with it.

It's too bad Vines have to be so short. We totally missed the part where the green toothbrush pushed her out the window.

O HAY THERE FELLOW PORTAL FAN!!! :DDD

So because it's not perfect they shouldn't even try? Nothing is flawless immediately, it has to be developed and refined. This is mind control regardless of how rudimentary it is.

It's inaccurate and tuned poorly. That doesn't mean it's not a mind-controlled game. We're talking semantics here but lets look at facts.

I don't put a distinction between brain impulses and "true mind-controlled". Whatever that means. Impulses are rudimentary, not very well processed/understood brain-functions that give simple clues to a general area somebody might be thinking of.

I've gone back and done some more reading—and as I cannot edit or delete my original comment, I'd like to expound upon it here for the sake of clarification:

1.) I definitely applaud The Fullbright Company's decision; given not only their makeup as a company—and their stated aims—but the state of the industry as it is

Makes me a little sad for everyone really. I understand Fullbright's discomfort. While not gay or transgendered I do know what it feels like to feel ostracized and belittled for something you have little to no control over. Mike and Jerry know those similar feelings as well, they've spoken about their experiences in

1.) Fair enough on the team's part; they have every right to determine whom they do/do not wish to do business with—and frankly, kudos to them for sticking to their guns despite potential damage to their business.

2.) Krahulik's insensitivity is nothing new. Look, he and Holkins do some real good (and have been for

Good for them. I know it won't be popular opinion, and here come the rush of defenders of Mike - but it's not the first time. Yes, "Dickwolves" maybe didn't start out that bad, but when he was attacked, his responses got progressively more asshole-ish and inappropriate. If this was the first time something like
