That first night Alpha is looking for 2 of the GEDs to transform because everybody knows there are at least 2 GEDs.

Could you, possibly, outline exactly what it is that Alpha is thinking on the first day, according to your theory?

If they had the common knowledge you say they must have - meaning they all know what all see, then they would not just skip the first day - they would skip all the days, because they would already know that they all have green eyes.

The outcome of the first night is the two green eyed dragons don't observer the other transforming, and this informs them that they are both green eyed. But as you say - it does not really go down like this - there are not two blue eyed dragons standing back and watching this. Its all in Alpha's head, its all a

I've asked repeatedly if you meant for the situation to include Alpha having blue eyes. You didn't answer, so I assumed you did.

The "real" Gamma, and Beta, and Delta also see three green dragons.

Alpha's observations aren't identical to the other three's. Alpha sees one more green-eyed dragon than the other three :/

So the question is again: How would that information leap from Alpha's head to the other three?

Just to check, Alpha is still blue-eyed, yes? And the other three are green-eyed? This is the scenario still?

True, but it still works even if there isn't a discrepancy of minima, when it's only green eyed dragons. I'd say it's more a problem of not taking into account what, for example, Gamma thinks Beta thinks, given the assumption that they will all reason from the perspective that they are each of them blue-eyed.

From Gamma's perspective, Beta and Delta have to do the first night's test, because Gamma does not know what Beta and Delta are seeing. Gamma wants to know whether Beta and Delta are seeing just one other green-eyed dragon, and the only way to do that is to wait two nights.

Alright, okay, so...

Now say there are 4. From our eyes we see three. Placing ourselves in their position they may see 2 if we don't have green eyes.

I enjoy this mythology

I've been telling my friend "I think they're about to meet the final boss soon!" for about two or three years now. He's stopped listening.

In a pint glass with a huge spoon of honey and about a quarter pint of milk.

If the dragons wanted to do everything in their power to figure out who had green eyes, they could've easily done it centuries ago.

Just bought it :)

Thank you kindly

what is this?
