A lesson in ‘boxing’ corners vs ‘slipping’ corners. He is strong under braking with supreme stability and speed in the fast transitions and corners. He does not have to ‘box’ or cut a 90 to take the corners, he just ‘slips’ through with beautiful precision and stability.

That is exactly what it looks like when i’m late for my 9am meeting. Similar narrow street course too!

It was his co-driver/team owner that crashed there. I think that Paul Kelly (the driver in the crash) was the 'Am' to Jono Lester's 'Pro' - not to knock him, because his ownership of the team means that Lester gets to drive a well-sorted, quick car.

That’s no Vette - it’s a Camaro! I got a bit worried for a minute there, because I’m sure I would have remembered seeing a Corvette if it had been there (we don't get them as road cars here in Australia, and I haven't seen one racing GT3 at Clipsal yet, so it would have been notable). Those Camaros were pretty damn

Gran Turismo, He’s playing Gran Turismo. HOW ELSE IS THIS SUPPOSED TO WORK? You start at the back and have 6 laps to get to the front. I HATE POLYPHONY DIGITAL FOR TAKING OUT QUALIFYING.

It did look like all the animals weren’t quite equal there!

Clearly his strategy was to make the brakes last longer by not using them.

Aussie GT kind of is a Businessman-championship in a way. But in saying that, there are a lot of V8 Supercar boys have found their way there, as well as International GT Pros like Lester. Pit stops are assigned compulsory times based on driver ability, which in theory gives everyone a chance. Obviously though, a late

This guy is a mad man... And that throttle control :/ I always put too much or too little throttle and either lose time or lose time.

it looks like he got hit twice towards that last lap or two, once by the audi that cut back to the inside to slam the door on him and side swiped him a bit, and then again that orange/black bmw that went way to the outside and when he took the proper line, they just drove straight into him (and into the flow of

He needs to bump up the difficulty...these driveatars seemed to brake early.

that, boys & girls, is what you call expert positioning.

He almost got punted toward the end too...someone hit him from the left, hard.

Now playing

Not to mention the selfie that they took during their pit stop... Sublime.

Almost reminds me of seeing those local drivers that “everyone” knows will go on to great things while they’re still racing at a low level. But this isn’t low level racing though. Or is the Aussie GTC some kind of “businessman-championship”?

Is that a tablet for a rearview? Fantastic.

Some of the best driving i’ve ever seen. He was perfect, almost robotic.

And that ladies and gentlemen is how you clean house.

‘scuse me, pardon me, coming through!
