It can be whatever you want it to be, bb. (money please....)

The entire premise behind Mighty No. 9 was riffing on nostalgia that old-school Mega Man fans like myself feel for the games that were—rather than the sorry state Capcom has allowed the character to languish in.

Part of that nostalgia is related to the packaging the older games came in. I still have my old Mega Man 2

Might actually be true until you realise its Nissan. So, no, they must have paid square.

They also die fairly fast. Just saying.

Copying my previous response from the similar Persona5 post from awhile ago:

I have both but they may one day break.

Hopefully it’s a good port, I was a little bummed when Bungie ported Halo from the Xbox to the Xbox and called it Halo 2. I mean, sure, there was a new campaign, new weapons, new levels, new mechanics, improved graphics, and better customization, but it was still Halo.

But it’s not, though.

Thanks for the update. I also read articles about things I don’t like and then announce in the comments how much I don’t like a thing but I strangely still clicked on an article about it and took the time to comment on it about how much I don’t like a thing.

It’s a sequel. New stages, new weapons, new characters, new modes, new single player campaign... You know, sequel stuff.

You realize that with the map functionality, they basically HAD to get sneaky, otherwise there would be literally no challenge?

Probably because the modders are from China and thought it’d be cool to have their country in a game they enjoy?

I’m not! Even if this just takes one person to make happen, it’s a waste of that one person’s time, and a waste of resources that Nintendo could be allocating to the 3DS or Switch Virtual Consoles.

Mostly.... depends on the hero. I mean how many people knew the origin story of Dr. Strange outside comic nerds? Hell, I am a comic nerd and I wasn’t 100% certain myself. Similarly with Black Panther.

Neither. This is pretty ordinary a few months into release when demand is higher than expected at release, it takes weeks (at minimum) to raise production, and they’re likely already retaining some stock for the fall season.

As someone who works in animation, I always love when people talk about how easy it is. Especially people who don’t do it.

Feedback.

Now playing

Lords of the Fallen borrowed a lot from Dark Souls and it was a full 3D game, no one made a big deal about that, i don’t think Salt & Sanctuary is a bad thing or derivative, IT IS their own game .. it borrows heavily from Dark Souls but it’s still unique enough in also many other things that’s it becomes it’s own

Gameplay mechanics don’t hold much water in court. Wizards has the patent for “Tapping” cards, but it is such a common mechanic in card games. A bunch of ‘Souls mechanics were in games that came before the Souls series.

I think it’s time we just admitted that “souls like” is a genre. It’s no more a ripoff than call of duty is a ripoff of wolfenstein or doom.
