I'm dying for a new Metroid too, but I'll take quality over quantity. We could have the other end of the spectrum: an annual franchise. METROID III: MODERN SPACEWAR II nothx

Honestly, I see where you're coming from, but I disagree. Silhouette is an important factor in character design, and those big honking ball shoulders give Samus one of the most distinctive. If you blacked out all detail from major characters, leaving only the silhouette outline, so many of them would be…
It wasn't ahead of its time and neither was the Game gear. Both were products of the tech they had AT THE TIME. Which is why neither had staying power. Nintendo actually had a colored prototype to compete with the gamegear, but they shelved it because of batteries and the screens were too expensive to not be like the…
So, did you make this same comment when Microsoft shipped its 360 controllers with AA batteries, and charged extra for a proprietary battery pack and charging cable?
Been looking for a reason to post this interesting video:

I don't know what people have against Gifs.

Why is it everyone is so dumb when it comes to understanding nintendo..
Great breakdown, professor.
Way too many people freaking out about this as some sort of hidden agenda to place the blame on gamers. Have you ever taken a moment of silence for a fallen hero? Did talking get him killed? Chances are, in the vast majority of cases, no.
There's some discussion on this event from before it on the last Address the Sess.
Do you know when the fiscal year ends?
I'm glad Nintendo is still mostly family friendly. I've seen countless comments complaining that Zelda and Metroid aren't mature enough. Nintendo doesn't owe you anything just because you grew up, their games should be able to be enjoyed by adults and kids alike just like when we were growing up.
This is called Mario Kart 8, so I'm guessing (including the original) 7. Also considering the fact the 3DS-version is called Mario Kart 7...
The power of Mario Kart is the huge selection of awesomely designed tracks. If they add a track editor, they will never get the same quality as the ones in the game. You will get some high-quality courses, definitely, but not as perfectly fine-tuned as the ones in the game.
Bronson is still pretty great though.
I thought the whole point of the voice change was to imply "I don't want people learning my secret identity"?
